Corn grits - 250 g

Parmesan cheese (or brynza) - to taste

Pour 1 liter of salted water in a cast-iron pan and bring to a boil. Gradually pour the corn grits in a saucepan, stirring constantly with a wooden spatula, and cook for about 30 minutes, continuing to stir to avoid lumps formed. If polenta separats from the bottom and walls and peel appears on the walls, it is ready. Put the polenta on a chopping board, give it the desired shape and allowed to cool. Pour polenta with butter and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
